This may be my weirdest thread yet...lol
Anyway, anyone have any pics of ride control panels. Doesn't matter which rides. But I love seeing different panels from different rides, comparing them, seeing how the ride works, etc. I just think it's so amazing..lol

Thanks for the pics. Anyone have anymore. I notice a difference between US panels and those panels. It looks like they may have some manual work involved in normal operation of their rides, as with us, we push Cycle Start or Ride Start and the ride does it's own thing. I also noticed some other differences such as buttons, etc. We use allen-bradley buttons, lights, switches, etc. alot. I don't know who makes their's...lol

I always liked the rides that didn't have control panels, just a big lever or two.
All Skywheels should be yeller.

lol I love control panels. They're so cool. Especially newer Coaster control panels. The LCD Screens are amazing and tell you just about everything. (I'm still trying to find Solitaire on that thing!!!)

You forgot the crank to start the engine.. In my day we didn't have control panels. Start and Stop buttons on kiddie rides, once in a while just a knife switch. We also had rides that wide flat belts made them go.

Then I guess we have it easy. I work at an amusement park, our ride panels were designed for monkeys, that's how easy it is. Everything's got a button. Flip the switch for the pump (i love the sound of a hydraulic pump in the morning) and press go.

They're all pretty much preprogrammed these days.

Yes cranks and switches that was very familiar.. Also the electric we did use came from the committee. No Generators. just about everything was gas and a few light bulbs. We were also lucky to have heaters or floorboard in the trucks, with hard bench seats. No interstates or turnpikes either.

You mean the panel mounted in the center of the vehicle?
I love that thing. It's got that cool little LCD Screen.
