Surely the Casino was stopped while little Punkie was standing there? It just kind of seemed odd to me to show a small child so close to a ride like this....

Thats Crazy! It reminds me of when Steve Erwin put his baby right infront of a huge Crocodile. Some people are just plain stupid! [:(!]

I looked at that too Boils....and I can only see one place in one photo where I MIGHT could believe that. I use PS every single day....and although I'm certainly no master at it...I will say that if indeed these pics are PS'd then whoever did them is really good.

Look at the folks on the ride in the background. The same folks are in the background, and some are looking over their shoulder at the camera. The ride was definitely stopped for the photo shoot. No Photoshopping involved...

Well not to say that this wasnt a Photoshop picture. However where the little girl is standing she would be safe from the motion of the ride while it is up in the air. I am not sure if the ride was really stopped or if someone simply took a picture of the ride running and then PS the baby into it. However, I would find it difficult to run the ride up like that and get the customers to stay there while the child was put into the picture. But hey, that is just my 2 cents worth.

True Jimmy....but even then, does this not do anything to promote safety? I'm not trying to be overly critical or start anything up or bash the show...I guess I'm just seenig a different image of it.

Isnt theri a break wear you can run the ride in one spot but still have it run or spin may be thats what they did and then stuck her qickly in.If you notice it apears that the blond ladie sees the kid then she tells her friend and then she looks back.K=Just my idea

Yeah...right....I forgot. But if I'm not mistaken, haven't there been a couple of show kids deaths in the past 8-10 years? I understand the meaning behind the photo...and I'm sure they wouldn't have put the little girl in harms way...that's not my question/concern. Maybe it's a stretch, but I can certainly see where some people would wonder why they are letting a little kid wander around on the deck of an operating ride?

The ride is most likey stopped and if I'm not mistaken, the ride can be stopped like that in the pictures. I can't see how they could get various pictures of the two girls that are at the same position on the ride. However, I too agree that photos like these are not a smart idea especially with those concerned about ride safety. I'm sure that they never meant to put the little girl in harms way and I don't think they would have her there on the platform while the ride is moving. It would have been better for them if they had the little girl properly seated in one of the gondolas.
