Hi guys
Thanks mama that was a question I was going to ask but forgot. I think it would be great to add a system like this to the Carousel and give the photo's to the parents for free. I will have to look into the cost of the system to see if it can be implemented.

I think it'd be a great idea if it's cost-effective...more kids riding the ride because the parents want the pic vs. what you'd make if you charged a buck or two. Some of the big parks charge $8-10 apiece for their coaster photos.

BTW, you're both welcome...anytime...[:)]

Hey Alpine,

I think that is a nice idea, but I think you will be disappointed when you see how much it costs for the service, not the initial price I mean. Mark Popovich uses a system similar to these on his flume, and he has a Dy-sub printer, and it is fairly expensive to keep it all going. The printer cartridges are usually pretty pricey. But in any case, good luck with it.

Jolly Roger in Ocean City MD has one on a Wild Mouse ride and they sell the photos for $5 each I think. They say it is a real money maker and increases the rides bottomline a lot.

How about a Poliroid pic for $5. They are cheap and you can film anywhere. Say Cheese!
