It's way too early in the season for this.[:(] Hopefully the remainder of 2004 will be safe and accident free.[:)]

According to our local news, a weld broke on the safety bar.

Luckily, it doesn't sound like the injuries are too serious. I can't remember hearing about too many problems with this ride. Hopefully, if there is a design problem, they will find it and correct it. Accidents can happen to anyone. I hope that Wade comes out of it OK and the injured recover soon.

That is a total bummer. [V] It's weird, I've heard that FL inspects rides every time anybody sets up for operation. It just goes to show you just never know... I just hope the rest of 2004 is a lot brighter for all of us. [8D]
Have you paid your dues Jack? Yeah I paid my dues. The check is in the mail.

Unfortunately, yes, it is a Wade Shows spot, Ron is correct. I say unfortunately, because of all that happened in 2003 to them, I hope this is not a harbinger of what is coming in 2004. I hope all involved come out okay, my prayers are with them. [V]

Thats true in that Florida inspects a good bit especially after the rash of accidents they had about late 80's early 90's.
