I like the movie Carny a lot - a very young Jody Foster, Meg Foster with the weird eyes, Gary Busey and Robbie Robertson (of The Band). There is supposed to be a scene in it where one of the oldtimers is reading AB but I've never been able to catch the quick glimpse of it.
Does anyone ever run that "String " game anymore?
that was interesting. I never saw one except in that movie.
It is worth buying. I got it on ebay. It shows sometimes on TV but they probably edit it some unless it's on AMC cable channel.
For you women on the board: Another carnival movie (sort of) is Two Moon Junction.....hottiest carnie worker I ever saw!! I'd have run off with him too.
