Theme park reviews video's were pretty good - some even quite comical. Show looked decent, but the presentation of the convention center looks no where even close to the beautiful Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

Rides 4U did a great job with the impressive LED display at their booth!

The S&S Swing Buggy coaster looks like a winner. Massive cars, innovative. Click on the pics, stay for the S&S video at the end of the first part.

There are always new things at IAAPA to appeal to us all. It is sad that the MCW clan didn't exploit the opportunity to post pics and videos.

2ndgen felt that the show had nothing there for him, oh well and Bull. What about new kadotys, Chinese garbage, guts etc?

Anyway "WestCoaster" did justice to IAAPA. Thanks for posting it Ryan.

At the Kickoff event Fred Thompson & Skip Dundy, the creators of Coney Island's legendary Luna Park were inducted into the IAAPA Hall of Fame. The founders of the Coney Island History Project accepted the award.

The theme park website guys are best described as "rollercoaster groupies" You notice them lurking and drooling around the rollercoaster mfg booths.
They have no right to look down on carnivals, there's some weird people in their groups.
