I was on the Choice Hotels web site and they are using amusement parks to get business. They are using this ad:

So, I knew that ferris wheel looked familiar. I think it is this one:

So if the pictures are the same place, what a lovely place for a family vacation? An abandoned amusement park near the worlds worst nuclear power plant accident. The funny thing is the hotel brand down't seem to have a hotel in Prypiat, Ukraine near Chernobyl.
It is what you learn, after you know it all, that counts.

Looks like the artist did a quick google images search for Ferris Wheel and found that one. Probably not knowing the exact history of the ride.

The photo is not likely to get them in to any type of copyrights violation! Who the heck from over there will even be able to see an ad like that?? Too funny though. I would like to be in the room when those ad executives or better yet the hotel chain realizes where that photo is from!............................ other people's train wrecks! so much better than your own 😉 LOL
