Protestors' told to leave the park so it can be cleaned, some threating to fight to stay. Yet the park is private property, and the company that owns it wants them gone. I think it's going to get violent....

You're welcome. There is more fascinating information at links provided at the end of that article, too.

And I was right, it's getting violent....you don't see this at tea party protests!

So, they cleaned up the park and were told they could stay then they went crazy and left:

"Protesters, apparently jubilant over being able to stay in the park after their furious cleanup efforts, took their brooms, flags and signs and started fanning out at around 7:30 a.m."

Chris, it sounds like you are happy about this?
It is what you learn, after you know it all, that counts.

Not really, I think the way they are acting is stupid, and the way the liberal media fawns all over them makes me want to throw up. The company, Brookfield, stopped efforts to make folks leave so they could clean the park and then enforce the no tents/sleeping bags etc. rules when folks threatened to not leave and make it difficult to get them to leave, ie, violence, blocking police, whatever it took. Not wanting any violence, Brookfield has said they held off and will wait and try again.

I just stated I figured the way it was going, there was going to be violence, and I was right.

Occupy Wall Street Kitchen Staff Protesting Fixing Food For Freeloaders

“We need to limit the amount of food we’re putting out” to curb the influx of derelicts, said Rafael Moreno, a kitchen volunteer.

But wait! Hold on a minute! I thought we were supposed to 'redistribute' what we had to those that don't have ('haves' to the 'have nots')?!?!?! At least that's what a majority of those protesting have said! Add hypocrisy to the irony. [wacko]

I only see a black page.

How do you spell hypocrisy? Like this:

Quote:

OAKLAND (CBS/AP) — A group of Oakland anti-Wall Street protesters who blame large banks for the economic downturn have decided that one of those institutions is the best place to stash their money for now.

Protesters at an Occupy Oakland meeting Monday voted to deposit a $20,000 donation into a Wells Fargo account. The move comes just days after one of Wells Fargo’s branches was vandalized during a massive downtown demonstration.

An Occupy statement said the money only will be with Wells Fargo temporarily while they work to establish an account with a credit union or community bank. Protesters said it was the easiest way to access the money to bail out people from jail.

Wells Fargo spokesman Ruben Pulido said the move demonstrates that Occupy Oakland recognizes the value and service the bank provides its customers.

They didn't even mention them using kids as human shields to keep the police from enforcing the law.
