It never says, and is only an accusation with no proof. It's probably a bit tongue and cheek, but at the same time, liberals are scared; their 'savior' in the White House is treading on super thin ice leading into the 2012 elections, and if the elections were held now he would lose and lose big....so the smear campaigns get rolling early....

Not saying who I am supporting, have not made a final choice yet, but it's already been leaked that a goal of the Obama campaign is to smear as many of the GOP contenders as they can, early and often, especially the front runner's (so far) like Bachmann and Romney; and to think, they (Dems) were the ones screaming for 'civility' and criticizing everyone else. Huh....[wacko]

LOL True. They never let the facts get in the way of a good smear attack and run.

Michelle Bachman needs to be running this country about as much as Bozo the clown does.

I don't disagree with that. She's promising $2 gas, but isn't saying how she'll accomplish it.

I am not sure we can even mention him around here yet, but if Bozo is running, I think Boils should run also.

Can you just imagine all of his TV spots done in Flash? LOL

I didnt read the story but I agree with Tre she needs to get her facts right or maybe she needs a teleprompter lol.

Because I have noticed her say many things in error I find it hard to believe she is not a puppet.

BTW I do not support nor did I vote for our current socialist president!

Its a video of Colbert's show..........

It states quite clearly.... if you bothered to watch it........ what vote buying she did and how she did it. Very funnily she only got 80% of the votes she bought.

The tickets to vote in the straw poll cost actual money. As in cash, get the concept? Hilariously of the votes Ms. Bachmann BOUGHT, only 80% were for her! That in itself is funny.

Where exactly is this article to read that has our rightists in such an uproar? It was a video clip.... Watch it, Laugh, get educated!

My browser is flash free. It does not show pictures or videos. Though admittedly, I wouldn't watch a Colbert video, looking for facts, anyway. He's a comedian. He has absolutely no responsibility to tell the truth, unless he thinks it's funny. He is worse than talk radio.

The article is the blog post (bloggers don't need to tell the truth either) on the page. It's the only part of the page I can see.

I don't see anyone in an uproar. Personally, I only asked a question. Nor do I see anyone supporting her, but I see several people declaring their non support.

Its not a hard this time based on facts. Excuses don't get it done.
List the promises and see which ones were kept.
Cut the deficit in half?
Lower HC costs?
Reduce dependence on foriegn oil?
Create jobs/lower unemployment?
Close the border?
Sues states for doing what the gvt refuses to do?
Wants higher taxes?
Refuse a an amendment to balace the budget?
Signs an exec order stating all gvt projects are to be union?

Before someone says, well he inherited a bigger mess then he though, first it was a lie, he knew. It was HIS failed policies that made it infinetly worse. He is and was ill prepared for the job. Idealogy doesn't cut it, common sense does. It has taken almost three years to get a plan which we still haven't seen?

You're preaching to the choir. Nobody here has expressed any support for her candidacy.

It is all a screwed up mess. Obama did inherited a big mess from the Bush years but has proved that he could not at least slow the mess down. Maybe it is gone too far for anyone to fix. Congress's has proved that they are incapable of making legislation that is good for everyone and not just the special interest. I know we have had our disagreements here and everyone had different ideas but I think if we were sitting in a room, we could come up with a better compromise than the politicians in Washington and do a better job at running the country.
It is what you learn, after you know it all, that counts.

Agreed....We can't impose tarrifs because of sorry trade agreements. But a constitutional amendment stating we can import no than we export doesn't affect those agreements. As for those refusing jobs, no more gvt checks, when their belly growls they will work. Perry is not a good choice, too soft on imigration. He could have clamped down on Houston and didn't he has started to close the border.
