As a tax accountant, I get the IRS updates daily. The 1st 6 months of the year the mileage rate was 51 cents a mile.
Starting July 1 thru Dec 31 it will be 55 cents a mile. This is for anyone using standard mileage versus actual expenses.[admin2]

i don't use a moped but i do claim the miles driven in a season and its a big deduction.
