With the carnival/fairs season coming to a close in a month or so I was wondering what type of jobs do you have in the off season. It seems a lot of carnivals are working year around. I been driving school bus and did a rural (driving) paper route.

Some shows keep their Key people year round. Makes good sense and there is always more to get done then there is people, money and time to get done.

My dad owns a landscape company which has a similar season length with the northern shows and he plows in the winter

always did machine shops, assembly, mfg type jobs, sometimes staffing services. now in a machine shop full time[8D]

paint weld repair rebuld good season we eat good while where doing it bad season we do not eat so good but still dump the money into paint weld and repair
