Hey all,

Thought I would share some pictures and updates to the Astro unit of NAME. Stopped over last Thursday and visited with the GM Pat Repp. They run two units during fair season in the summer with that equipment and the smaller one plays Chicago. In Dixon Pat had a brand new Wacky Mouse coaster. Upon delivery it was re-racked to accommodate the track sections into bins that can be lifted with a forklift onto the trailer instead of by hand. Also the scenery has its own rack bins as well. I think this concept is the growing trend with these now and originated from Bobby Meyers. The former Cumberland Valley "Mardi Gras" got an entire facelift while in Texas this winter, looked very sharp. The Pharaohs Fury was stripped of its neon on the towers and new LED turbos were added. Also fresh paint, by far the nicest looking one on the road in my opinion! Sizzler was repainted and decorated with graphics towards the mid part of last season in the Chicago shop. The Orbiter was stripped of its sphere ball on the center and has brand new lightning bolts from amtech. Thats about all I can think of for now... Here are some shots and a link to the gallery.

That would be the "Grape Ape". Correct it was used on the mega drop main load. It is now for the freak out due to its weight. I believe it belongs to Dennis, its one sweet ride, all chromed out and has purple neon lights at night. Astro was always known for their tricked out trucks!

Show looks great! I like the color of the new Mouse for a change. The Mardi Gras mural is probably one of the sharpest ones that I have seen.

Many years ago a show called "Marvel Shows" played the Petunia festival in Dixon. Anyone remember this show?
