If you are having problems registering for these forums, then you need to read the following VERY CAREFULLY:

These forums require two things from you:
That cookies be enabled in your web browser.
That you provide a VALID email address during the registration process.

Examples of an invalid email address would be one that has www.(myemailname)@aol.com or something to that effect.

When you give out your email address, you don't enter it as www.(myemailname)@(mydomain.com). You enter it as (myemailname)@(mydomain.com) or johndoe@aol.com as an example.

THESE FORUMS WILL SEND YOU AN IMMEDIATE EMAIL -- You MUST click the link in your email in order for your account to be activated. This means that if the link doesn't work, you must COPY THE ENTIRE LINK into your address bar in your browser and either hit 'Enter' or click your 'GO' button.

IF YOU STILL CANNOT VALIDATE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS you need to email forumserver@carnivalwarehouse.com so we can find out what the problem is with your pending membership and get it activated. IF YOU HAVE TRIED TO REGISTER AND YOUR REGISTRATION FAILED, DO NOT TRY TO REREGISTER -- EMAIL forumserver@carnivalwarehouse.com WITH THE EMAIL ACCOUNT YOU TRIED TO REGISTER UNDER.

Example: if you registered under johndoe@aol.com then you MUST EMAIL US FROM THE ACCOUNT johndoe@aol.com SO WE CAN VERIFY THE ACCOUNT IS VALID. We can then reset your membership and activate it, but NOT until then.

The account forumserver@carnivalwarehouse.com is checked often incase of membership problems.

UPDATE:

Please be sure that any and ALL email from the domain carnivalwarehouse.com is not being blocked by your spam mail filter!

If you have registered and you are certain your email address is valid, check your spam mail folder to make sure the registration email was not mistakenly filed there. This has been the case with many members attempting to register, specifically, AOL users.

Be sure to accept ALL email from the following email addresses:

forum@carnivalwarehouse.com
forumserver@carnivalwarehouse.com
mcook@carnivalwarehouse.com

Update to the above information:

At present, all accounts must be approved by an Administrator prior to the account activation email being sent to you. Please be patient, as the Administrators are not online at all times. Multiple and duplicate registrations will be deleted. Typically, if a new account is not activated, it is deleted on the 8th day after the initial registration.

Should you have any problems during the registration process, please email forum@carnivalwarehouse.com for assistance. Thank you!
CAUTION, Administrator at work. This is a troll-free zone.

UPDATE:

<s>Effective Immediately, we will begin adding email address filtering to the system. Due to the recent slam of spam accounts being generated on the site, we will begin filtering certain domains in the registration process before the account is even able to be registered.

At this time, any email addresses containing the following in their server domain will be first on the list to be blacklisted:

user@*.ru
user@*.cn
user@*.gaweb.com
user@*.*inmail.*
user@*.*inweb4.*
user@gmail.com <-- that's right -- gmail addresses will no longer be accepted as registration accounts due to Google's lack of ability to filter out spam bots from signing up gmail accounts.

As more domain names become a problem in the registration system, they will be added to the blacklist as well as added to this list here.</s>

I'm trying a different trick -- we'll see how it works -- for now, there might not need to be the address filtering if this other method works out.

Thank you for your understanding.
