The action of the local Fire Dept was unexcuseable, and made a horrible situation so much worse.

I wish them peace in this tramatic time.

They are thinking that he had a heart attack, and dropped his cigarette... somehow catching the car on fire!

Scott, after being a fireman for over 10 years I usually take it personal and try do defend what can be defended. This is one instance where I am stunned and speechless. Having been to more than one car fire/fatality I can not fathom how this could have occured.

Our thoughts are with the family during this devestating time.

I hope he died of the heart attack, before the fire. I'm horrified to hear of your loss.

I am very sorry to hear this. Paul and his family were our neighbors. And we were on the same show for a while. My heart goes out to his family. ~Katie
