The Missouri State Fair opens Thursday Aug 7. Check out the Wades Shows midway come together on the web cam. Just click on the picture and it will update every 10 seconds. There are a couple of good shots of the midway. Enjoy!

WOW! the zyklon and whitewater are both there. Just drove by and a from what I could see was the Enterprise, yo yo, wipeout- the nicest looking wipeout I`ve seen. Gondola wheel, himalaya, sky rider, tilt a whirl, spinout, scrambler, and starship. I payed more attention to the bigger rides but there did not look like there are as many kiddie rides and games as usual or either it is spread out more. Did not see some of the more typical rides like the zipper, tornado, and cliff hanger but what is there really looks awesome. A very nice show.

Today is one dollar day with one dollar admission and select concessions selling corndogs, funnel cakes, and drinks for a buck. It will be jam packed this afternoon with the opening ceremonies and parade entering the fairgrounds. There will also be a B-2 stealth bomber fly over. If like years before it will fly right over the midway towards the grandstands.

Reed played Mo. until Murphy Brothers went to China and now they play North Dakota and Wisconsin, but Sedalia is Jerry Murphys.
