Terry Schmidt moves one around Michigan. Last year he booked it in at various spots as well as playing Schmidt spots with it.

It's been awhile since I've seen one of the older models. The newer, folding ones have 8 tubs that stay attached to the platforms when folded, right?

The older ones, didn't they have more than 8 tubs? Was it 10 or 12? I think I remember 10. I remember thinking that while the newer ones looked easier to move, I preferred the older ones.

Wabash Valley Shows of Indiana had an very nice older model a couple of years ago.

is it the 70's version?

Not exactly sure of the year. Here are three photos of it from a year ago. Ted, it is ten tubs on the older versions.

Shortline Amusements of Shelburn, IN refubished one in 2006. They used it on their route last summer. The boys did a good job on the ride.

Looking through some old photos of mine, came across this one. From about ten years ago, this is what Schmidt's Tip Top used to look like (before the above version).

Around here rag bag richard Nixon amuse co. had a disaster of a Tipflop in their yard. The platforms had to be 8' off the ground. I don't think it ever made it on the road.

Pugh had the same type of Tip Top, not this particular one though. JCJ Amusements has Pugh's old Tip Top now.

Pugh's, from 1995:

And from 1999-until now (with JCJ):

And just for kicks, found this racked photo from May 1992 in Garden City, Michigan:

Very nice video. Looks like they ditched the canvas around the centre and went back to the panels. Thanks for the video, always have liked the Tip Top, fun to ride, and that sound is unmistakable.
