Sticking with the recent surge in "joint themed topics", does a "frog bog" or a "flip-a-chick" still win any money, or did they ever win any money. You never really see the joint around here. I think the only one i have seen in the last couple of years was in Connersville Indiana last summer. Wasn't winning a dime.

I have always like the joint personally and i was thinking about maybe framing one or buying one if i could ever find one. Few questions about the joint...

_ what type of stock do you run

_ how hard is it to keep the joint working

_ agent or clerk... who works better in this joint

_ where do you buy the mallets and catapults

_ anyone got any pics?

I worked for someone who had a frog bog.
There was usually a clerk inside.
Sometimes it hit big, sometimes it blanked (but it was run by clerks).

I remember working across from it, once when the line up side locs were doniker, but the center had some draw from the bumper boats. The joint was constantly tipping, despite the clerk not knowing how to work. I made more money leaving my joint to sell frogs to his tip than I did in my joint.

The one time I worked it myself, I won good money, despite the organized cheating from the marks, who would draw my attantion to one side, while they tried throwing the frogs in when they didn't think I was looking. Luckily, it's just as hard to throw them as it is to launch them in

Back then, it was $2 for 3 frogs with $4-6 stock. If you don't have stuffed frogs, they'll steal the games frogs.

Don't know where to buy the launchers.

The joint is over 20 years old and did well at its inception.

I would think it has lost its luster. Classic mfg in (Garretsville, Ohio-I believe) was the manufacturer, still in business-not sure, but by now the patent has expired.

I just seen thier site a few weeks ago....I think they are called something else now....

Did they ever sell any of their "Midway Trailers" that had a Frog Bog/Flip a Chick, Cork gun and Blower in it?

I think the Frogs kick the hell out of the Chickens because the people like to see the spash.

I worked TA's when he had his. It needs a Mic man to get action and it sucks when it's cold reaching in the water to get the frogs out....

I took a octogon tank and a 6x6 tank to the scrap yard for the aluminum. The tanks have been sitting outside for a good ten yrs. I figure to get the money for them before the crack heads steal them from me. It was a good joint in it's day. Pain in the ass to move.

like to consider myself an agent. havent "clerked" in more years than i can remember[:)] as i mentioned earlier had the best year i ever had in w.p. in one. double center... worked for some independants from arkansas

can get the guts just about anywhere.

This is the chicken joint at the TSF. Center joint, chikens for stock. They played 'In the Mood', the chicken version continually.

It's a hanky. You have to ask yourself, do hankies make money anymore? Can a hanky cut it with today's rent and expense? I think I know that answer. Do you?
