You know, I am not 100% certain but that does sound familiar. Since Al Reisinger didn't go to South America I remember getting a new Midway supervisor. He was a small, skinny guy and super friendly. Probably around 45-50 at that time?Really smart.
They sent us over by airplane and put us in a hotel, hotel Oneida in Caracas. We were probably in the hotel for 7 to 10 days before the rides arrived. One of the first days I talked to the new ride supervisor he was ecstatic about the local coffee, and took me to a place to get a shot of expresso. I honestly can't remember his name but he was a super nice guy.
