Carousel came out fantastic Matt! I would love to do the same someday!

I did the top twice - lol. The first time, I used too much hot glue and the rounding board wouldn't fit. The second time, I used 100% fabric glue.

The whole project was a love-hate situation lol.

Sweet model!! Good work even though it took so long! great to have it finished and added to your collection.
Looks great Matt. Any guess how much time you got in it? And do you have a video of it in operation? WCP

After about two years, I finally finished my Cummons Carousel. The ride was a half-built model purchased from Don Cummons with many modifications.

The entire ride and upper scenery was made from Don Cummons castings. The inside scenery, fencing, and the faces of the two chariots were laser cut by Laser Tech Studios. Don traditionally has built a ground mount carousel, but I modified mine to have a trailer mounted center with scenery around the trailer, which was completely scratch built. The entire ride was hand painted by myself and each carousel horse has a unique paint job. I think this was one of the hardest paint jobs I have tackled! In the end, it was a lot of fun and I am happy with the turn out (I'm equally happy that its finally finished lol)!

The last final detail I'm waiting to add is a control box/stand for the operator.
