Matt could probably tell you better than I could, but from what I understand, the show had to sell some rides. Then Dan Driscoll (The son of the original owner) and Joe Frankowski went into a partnership and changed the name to D&J amusements. They still play around Chicago, and still have some of their better spots.
(Someone correct me if I'm wrong, lol)
What happened to Spectacular. Their website is still up.

Wayne...I worked for Dave years ago. Off and on for a few spots here and there as recently as'07, but steady? It's been 12yrs. Spectacular had that route that you just couldn't touch back then. I'd have played those spots in a duck pond if I would've had to, lol.

Thanks Matt. I rarely pay any attention to ride stuff, but I spent 7 or 8 years over on Spectacular, so I guess I paid more attention when that stuff happened than I normally would have.

You are correct Matt per a conversation I had with some of the Vivonas. Saw an ad for a Santas village in Myrtle Beach but it did not mention any carnival rides involved.
