J/K Matt. Back on topic....always interesting to see stuff like this, like finding old rides sitting behind buildings, in a field, etc. I wonder how many other cars like this are still around.

Years ago I spotted a silver sided car on a side track in Missoula Montana! The RAS titles were removed but you could still make out the name because the skin was much lighter where the letters were removed. It was one of the cars that housed generators.
Back in the 80's when we came off the rails many people purchased RAS cars with grand ideas on what they were gonna do with them...... the result in the picture is what became of most of them.

The problem with getting them to the museum was moving them there. They were no longer rail worthy due to new regulations and trucking them there involved
road crews "lifting" traffic lights along the way.............major expenses.

I wanted to move 60Car to property on HWY 41 to use as a guest house.

There used to be one or two of those sitting in Brooksville, Fl. too, but that was many years ago, and they looked like they were fresh off the rails.
there used to a old peice of the ROYAL'S train just sitting on the side of the tracks in fort lauderdale.
i dont know if its still there but it would be nice to see go to the museum.
with it and all for it
