Yes...the Wells Brothers are still with Evans! Their rides are beautiful. This sho spends alot of time on their equipment, and their help has early calls daily, washing and bulbing. Maybe the reason why a good 1/4 of the help is smokin' meth.
If I could only find a show that would allow my 2 dogs, I'd be back on the road.

I`m surprised they do not play larger fairs. I`ve seen photos of them at one decent sized fair I believe it was Davenport Iowa.

Nice looking show... I never realized they were that big.

Sean, good point on the blocking on the wheel!

There was a concessionaire called Tim Solom who was with Reithoffer a few years ago, he had california style joints, would that be the same person?

Great pics! I have been wanting to see pics of Evans for a long time and this is the first time I have seen some posted. The show really looks great! A nice mix of rides also. I'm very surprised this show has not been talked about on here more often.
Kind of an optical illusion I guess, the ground doesn't look that steep, it just looks screwy. Must be because it's not yellow.
All Skywheels should be yeller.

Do they still have their white Chance Skywheel?

I wonder that same thing. They used to bring it to the Arkansas State Fair when Dillard had the Fair. If I remember correctly, that wheel was the last one built by Chance, and it went to Buster Brown. Does anyone else know if that is correct?

Something looks very odd about that second picture, the way the trailer is sitting so high in front. Could be that the lot is on a steep grade but looking at the MGR in the background it looks level.

LOL. There isn't a level spot on the Arkansas State Fairgrounds. Matter of fact, the next year if I remeber correctly they actually spotted the Skywheel where that MGR was the previous year.
