  Peter Theunisz is no stranger to the IISF Trade Show. He has attended since the early 2000s, representing KMG of the Netherlands. Over the years, he expanded his business to offer quality used equipment from Europe through UsedRidesEurope.com and represents new ride sales for KMG and Gosetto of Italy.Theunisz arrived at the show with modest expectations, citing 15 percent tariffs on European equipment and ongoing labor concerns tied to the H-2B program.   One of the largest displays at the 2026 IISF Trade Show in Gibtown by a U.S.-based ride company was once again Len Soled's Rides 4-U, showcasing a portable Pirate Ship, Spinning Coaster, and a kiddie ride called the Mini Tagada.At the close of the day on Thursday, Soled was pleased with the overall outcome of the show so far. “I'm very happy with the number of people we've seen come through,” said Soled. However, he noted that hesitation among buyers centers on the current labor situation, specifically the arrival and future availability of temporary foreign workers through the H-2B program.“I think once we find out what will happen, orders will start flowing in once the issue is resolved,” said Soled. “I can fully understand their concern, and I hope it's short-lived.”Just before the show, Soled announced a new partnership with UK-based PWS Rides.   Chance Rides and France-based Reverchon announced on Thursday a new partnership that will bring the manufacturing of one of the company's popular roller coasters, the Spinning Coaster Stall Turn, to the Chance Rides facility in Wichita, Kansas.By producing the coaster locally in the United States, the companies will be able to deliver enhanced value, efficiency, and service to customers across the Americas. The coaster will be available to customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.The ride will be produced for both permanent and portable installations and will be manufactured in compliance with ASTM and EN safety and quality standards.This licensing partnership is expected to generate significant efficiencies, shorten lead times, and improve customer service, particularly through enhanced availability and distribution of service parts.
