Wade Shows' President, Frank Zaitshik, issued the following statement to the amusement industry regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

In the wake of this unprecedented pandemic, Wade Shows has ceased active public operations.  We are monitoring the situation closely and will reopen based upon CDC guidelines and state recommendations on mass gatherings.

I have had many recent conversations with my fair/festival partners, carnival operators, and friends about the crisis. I know that we face many financial pressures and we all are eager to get back to life as normal, but it's most important that we stay safe and take care of one another. While we are closed, we will be working hard on an aggressive schedule of refurbishment projects, staying true to our slogan, “Always First, Always Best.”

After the threat passes, Wade Shows will emerge bigger, better, taller and stronger than ever before.

I'm calling on all those in the outdoor amusement business industry, competitors and friends alike, to work together in order to share information and resources so we can return back to safe operation as soon as possible. In these uncertain times, I find comfort in the fact that all those in our industry are determined to bring safe, affordable, family entertainment to our communities.

During this crisis, I'm reminded of Kipling's poem, "IF", especially the line, "If you can keep your head, when all about you are losing theirs…

Let's all follow Kiplings advice and keep our heads, stay safe and take care of one another.  This too, shall pass, and I look forward to seeing all of you as soon as it as safely possible.

Sincerely,

Frank Zaitshik
