"We hope to bring the fair quickly back to the level of quality that our customers have come to expect", he added. Fair Productions operated the "Big A" Fair and the Belmont Stakes Fair at NYRA facilites since 1997. Three bidders submitted proposals for the right to negotiate the contract with NYRA and Fair Productions was selected from among the three. Schuman said he had selected Wade Shows of Spring Hill, Florida to provide the midway for the event which will feature a minimum of 35 rides. "We have a very tight time frame to put this together so we will be busy booking entertainment, sponsors and concessions for this and our other events", said Schuman. "We have already signed a sponsorship agreement with Dunkin' Donuts for our other events and they have committed to do the Belmont event as well", he added Reached in West Palm Beach, FL where he is enjoying a record run for the second straight year at the South Florida Fair, Frank Zaitshik, owner of Wade Shows, said he was very pleased about the prospect of playing the Belmont Stakes Fair this year. "Years ago when we first signed the Delaware State Fair, our long range goal was to build an East Coast route. With the addition of Belmont and the rest of Fair Productions' events, we have achieved that goal. Jimmy Danton, Jon Ketchum and Mike Thomas, key members of our management team, are especially excited to be adding this great event to our route", said Zaitshik In addition to Belmont, Fair Productions produces the three weekend Brookhaven Fair at Brookhaven Ampitheatre in Farmingville, NY and the Nassau Coliseum Fair in Uniondale, NY for three additional weekends. "We are also working on one and possibly two other events for this year", said Schuman, adding, "it looks like its going to be a very busy season".
