As MCW continues to expand and update our coverage of the fair, festival and carnival industries, we have found the need to broaden our staff of writers and reports in order to bring you the best in industry news.  We are very pleased to announce that Don Muret, a former writer for Amusement Business Magazine, will be joining the MCW staff, providing two articles a month for our pages.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Don, he was the Chicago area reporter for Amusement Business from 1993 through 2003.  He developed excellent contacts in the industry and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to MCW.

Don is  a graduate of Drake University where he earned a journalism degree.  He currently lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, Dana and two daughters, Madeline, 10  and Carolyn who will be turning 8 in September.  Don currently writes for the Sports Business Journal, where he has worked since leaving AB in 2003.

Don is working on his first article for MCW which we will be posting shortly.  He is excited about returning to the industry and renewing old friendships.  Stay tuned from articles from Don and other new writers as our coverage expands.
