The latest KMG giant portable XXL swing ride Themed  'Monster', was due to be delivered this Friday, March 5th.  The ride was approved by the German TUV last week.

H.P. Maier of Switzerland purchased the ride, his 9th from KMG.  In 1992 he purchased his first KMG piece, a Discovery and the XXL Swing will be his newest addition.

Currently, Maier also owns a Fire Ball and an Inversion from KMG. He is attempting to secure a spot at the Munich Oktoberfest 2010 for the Monster.  With this in mind, he designed the ride with blue squares on the towers so it would look like the German Bayern flag.

This is the second XXL model for KMG and the third is currently under construction for delivery to Belgium showman Jack Dotremont.

The XXL Swing ride is mounted on 3 semi-trailers and is set up set up without a crane.  The ride take four people 6 hours to erect.

The ‘Monster, holds 20 people per ride cycle, swings 148 feet high and has a footprint of 42 x 59.  The XXL Swing has all stainless steel fencing, wireless remote control for hydraulic set up, stainless steel electrical cabinets, a full LED lighting package, integrated Hofman Sound system and many logos with LED lighting.

Currently, there are no portable models of the XXL Swing in the United States, however, KMG has a wide variety of two and single trailer rides in the country.  Rides including the Fire Ball (After Burner), Freak Out, Speed, and the new Inversion have been widely popular among US show owners.  In 2007, KMG sold a US one of a kind ride called the "Swing It" to Indiana based Burton Brothers Amusements during the IISF Trade Show in Gibsonton.

For US customers, KMG is represented by Len Soled's Rides 4-U (www.rides4u.com).
